The Good Life

Early last month, I was given five gangly, very unhealthy looking, oxheart tomato seedlings. They should have been planted out before Christmas, but remained in a pot. I wasn't sure they'd survive, but dug up some space for them in the vegie patch, staked them, and have been watering and feeding them. They are now showing their gratitude by sprouting little tomatoes which get that little bit bigger with each passing day :D

My Dad used to grow this variety, and I haven't had one in years. They are an incredibly fleshy tomato, and grow quite big, and, as I don't use pesticides, they have their little buddies Basil growing beside them ;)
